Rebecca Steinmann to chair Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing

OAK BROOK - The Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing announced its 2022-2023 board of directors, including Elmhurst resident Rebecca Steinmann, who begins a two-year term as chair.

Steinmann is the nursing professional development practitioner, Emergency Care Center, at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.

She is an award-winning nurse with more than 40 years of experience in critical care and emergency nursing. Steinmann formerly worked at Edward, Northwest Community, Children's Memorial and Northwest Memorial hospitals.

Steinmann is board certified in emergency nursing, pediatric emergency nursing, trauma nursing and critical care nursing; is a fellow of the Academy of Emergency Nursing, and her current role is clinical nurse educator at Lurie Children's.
