Biden is not the uniter he claims

Last year's inaugural we had a uniter-in-chief who stated his firm belief in delivering us to the promised land of civility, a life where we could all take a collective sigh of relief. How mistaken we have all been.

He has demonstrated in so many ways that he is a divider-in-chief. And no amount of spin from the White House lectern can change that reality. I realize eating crow can leave a bad taste in your mouth, but it's a rite of passage to fully comprehend how we were so wrong in our electoral responsibility. Joe is no uniter.

His latest news conference was so devoid of reality with what's happening in the everyday lives of Americans from raging inflation, unprecedented crime (I give you Chicago's weekly crime statistics - good luck on your weekend in the city) to his massive failure to timely secure a consistent supply of COVID testing for Omicron.

Consider his Georgia speech, notwithstanding his refusal to consider it incendiary, which will ensure Biden's place in history as worst President, now and forever. Biden's perspective is warped.

Georgia is not limiting drop boxes for ballots. Where 10 days of early voting and excuse-only absentees in Delaware is just fine, now 17 days of early voting and no-excuse absentees in Georgia is racist Jim Crow. Electioneering is prohibited by denoting a 50-, 100-, 150-foot prohibition against the practice in nearly every state including Delaware, New York and Illinois. Does that mean Jim Crow is alive and well in Biden's and Schumer's home states or Pritzker's Illinois? No it does not.

And to add insult to injury citing Bull Connor, Jefferson Davis and George Wallace in Biden's combative, argumentative demeanor when referring to those in opposition to the Democratic power play was beyond disgrace. I give you, Joe The Divider-in-Chief.
