Round Lake Beach reopens building department service counter

After two years, the Round Lake Beach building department has reopened its permit counter for residents and contractors. The counter in the lower level of village hall, 1937 Municipal Way, closed in March 2020 due to COVID-19.

The desk is now open and available without appointment from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Residents and contractors can get permits, arrange building and business inspections, and get answers regarding village code from a trained village inspector and can interact face-to-face with community development department staff.
