Barrington Area Chamber announces 2022 leadership

The Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its new 2022 leadership, who will be recognized at the BACC annual Dinner & Scholarship Fundraiser on Thursday, Jan. 27, at Avante Banquets and Conference Center.

The annual event traditionally attracts more than 200 local business, community, and governmental leaders to raise funds for the BACC Lauren Brown Memorial Scholarship Fund and Small Business Programming.

"Established in 1969, BACC has focused on providing value and opportunity, building community partnerships and creating a prosperous local economy," said BACC President/CEO Suzanne Corr. "Our BACC board members are the cornerstone of our mission."

The new 2022 leadership consists of a 19-member board that includes a cross section of business leaders representing a broad range of local businesses. BACC board members help develop programs and resources to serve the local business community and impact the prosperity of our communities.

Executive committee: Doug McAllister, Douglas Automotive, BACC chairman; Jen Frey, Good Shepherd Hospital Health & Fitness Center, BACC first vice chair; Ellaine Sambo-Reyther, BMO Harris Bank Barrington, BACC second vice chair; Jon Stickney, Barrington Bank & Trust, BACC treasurer; Andrea Herran, Focus HR Consulting, BACC past chairman; and Suzanne Corr, BACC president/CEO, secretary.

Board of directors: Robert Finley, Virtue Asset Management; Armen Kholamian, Junk King N Chicago; Kyle Kick, BStrong Together; Brett Koenig, Crissie Insurance Group; Dr. Reinhold Llerena, Amita; Amber Luczak, Edward Jones; Keith Hanson, Hanson Law Group LLP, past BACC chairman; Bryan McGonigal, McGonigal's Pub; and Zach Witt, Ilumen Solar.

Advisory board members: Scott Anderson, village of Barrington; Dr. Robert Hunt, Barrington Community School District 220; Robert Palmer, village of South Barrington; and Michele Smith, Harper College.

BACC recently recognized four retiring board members for their passion to commitment to serving the business community: Tom Cramer, Wintrust Mortgage; Dennis Kelly, FGMK Insurance; Norm May, Full Service Office Solutions, Inc.; and Jennifer Prell, Elderwerks/Paxem.

"These individuals have been an integral part of the growth and success of the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce," Corr said.

"They have devoted hundreds of hours of service to the business community, to volunteering at community events, and to mentoring and assisting other BACC members. We are so grateful for the imprint they have made on BACC."

The BACC (www.BarringtonChamber.com) is an association of nearly 850 member businesses representing more than 1,800 business people dedicated to the success and prosperity of the 11 regional communities it serves: Barrington, Barrington Hills, Deer Park, Inverness, Kildeer, Lake Barrington, Long Grove, North Barrington, Port Barrington, South Barrington and Tower Lakes.

BACC promotes economic opportunities, aggressively markets the business community, advocates the interests of business, offers programs for professional development and leadership, and works to foster a robust regional economy.
