New hangar proposed for Chicago Executive Airport

The Wheeling village board will meet Monday night to discuss a company's plans to build a new hangar at Chicago Executive Airport.

Hawthorne Global Aviation Services is behind the plan. The business leases the land at the airport, which is jointly owned by Wheeling and Prospect Heights.

The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at village hall, 2 Community Blvd. It will be livestreamed on the village's YouTube channel, too.
