Grains mostly higher, livestock mixed.

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher on Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Mar. gained 14.50 cents at $7.69 a bushel; Mar. corn rose 4.50 cents at $6.04 a bushel; Mar. oats was off 3 cents at $6.58 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans was up .50 cent at $13.79 a bushel.

Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec. live cattle rose .73 cent at $1.3750 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle was up .30 cent at $1.6162 a pound; Feb. lean hogs was off .42 cent at $.7795 a pound.
