Route 173 crash victim identified as Kenosha woman

The Lake County coroner's office has identified the woman who died Wednesday after a three-vehicle crash on Route 173 near Antioch.

Ann Kennedy, 82, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox west on Route 173 near Pedersen Lane when drifted into the eastbound lanes of traffic at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Kennedy's SUV was struck head-on by a 2007 Volvo semitrailer truck driven by a 50-year-old man from Ontario, Canada, the Lake County sheriff's office said. A westbound 2002 Toyota Celica driven by a 20-year-old man who lives near Antioch then struck the Equinox.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday.

The two men involved in the crash weren't injured.
