AIT opens new West Coast headquarters

ITASCA - AIT Worldwide Logistics Thursday said it has opened a new West Coast headquarters in the Los Angeles freight-forwarding corridor.

The Torrance, California, facility will soon be the new workplace for more than 100 AIG employees who were formerly based in other Los Angeles-area AIT properties, the company said. They will provide logistics expertise for customers in a wide range of industries, including special services for food, high-tech and life sciences shipping.

The new facility joins the more than 50 AIT offices across North America and more than 100 across the globe, the Itasca-based supply chain solutions company said.

"After months of strategic planning and coordinated teamwork, I'm excited to see our teams move in and make this beautiful new campus come to life," said Vaughn Moore, AIT's president and CEO.
