75 years of memories

My memories go back over 75 years. My dad started taking me to Arlington when I was just little. I loved it. I would stand and watch the Lincolns pull up to the circle drive clubhouse of the old track and dream about pulling up there someday. Also picking up tons of thrown away cardboard tickets was wonderful. As years passed, we always came to see the horses. I went on to own a horse that ran in the late '80s but was sad the track had burned down along with my dream of the clubhouse. Since, I have taken my kids and now my grandchildren. Funny, my oldest grandson was about 6 when I took him. I backed his bets, he won every race that day and went home to say he wasn't doing any more chores. He makes more money at the track. I will really miss Arlington
