Fraud and vaccine cards

On a recent trip to Canada, to go into any bar or restaurant, you needed to show your vaccination card along with a government-issued ID. We were fine with that. My husband and I have both been vaccinated and boosted.

It seemed to us that the Canadians also were handling it well. The issue with that being mandated here in Cook County is the fraud that is going to happen. With the amount of fake vaccination cards going around, how will you ever feel secure knowing that everyone in the bar, gym or restaurant is really vaccinated.

In Canada, since you have government insurance, it is all linked up to you. All that the Canadians were doing was showing their phone which had all of their and only their information. Not the same here. Too many frauds.

Don't get me wrong, I love America. This is just my concern.
