Rotary Club of Palatine accepting applications for donations

The Rotary Club of Palatine is accepting applications from local nonprofits for monetary donations through the club's annual allocation program.

Organizations applying for funding should support the Palatine community directly and have 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. All applications will be considered, but funding is not guaranteed.

The money to be distributed was raised during the Oktoberfest celebration held in September in downtown Palatine.

"We had an excellent Oktoberfest that will aid the Rotary Club of Palatine in allocating funds to those in need within our community," said Randy Klingner, the club's president. "It's a great feeling to be part of an organization that can give back so much, especially when so many families and individuals are in need of assistance."

Applications are available at palatinerotary.com and must be submitted by Jan 22.

Applications can be submitted electronically or emailed to allocations@palatinerotary.org. Printed copies can be mailed to: Rotary Club of Palatine Allocation Committee, PO Box 412, Palatine, IL 60078.
