Gurnee school district to host free COVID-19 testing event

Just in time for back to school, Woodland Elementary School District 50 will host a free COVID-19 testing event.

Free tests will be administered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Jan. 6 at Woodland Middle at 7000 Washington St. in Gurnee. Even though the event is hosted by the school district, anyone in the area is welcome to attend.

People seeking tests are asked not to eat, drink, smoke, or chew anything at least 30 minutes before testing. They are also asked not to brush their teeth 30 minutes before the test.
