WinterFest at Volo Bog set for Jan. 9

WinterFest at Volo Bog State Natural Area in Ingleside will feature indoor and outdoor activities from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9.

Inside, the Ivy Ford Band will play the blues. Outside activities include bog tours at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and four age categories of snow sculpting (if snow is packable).

Winter crafts will be offered inside and photo contest award winners will be announced at 1:45 p.m., 2:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.
