Why 'build back better'?

I am trying to understand why we are "building back better" under the leadership of Joe Biden. Weren't we "shovel ready" under Barack Obama 13 years ago?

We have lost the Keystone XL pipeline, which cost 43,000 workers their jobs on Day 1 of his presidency. Joe Biden had put a stop to the border wall, causing chaos and thousands of migrants to come across our border with drugs including fentanyl, which is killing thousands a year. We are now dependent on Saudi Arabia for our oil, which for the first time in many years, the United States was self sufficient in supplying our country with its own oil.

We are only going to see our taxes again go up. The federal government (your paycheck) should not be involved with local issues which you are already being taxed. your local taxes should be put toward the infrastructure of your town or city.

Aren't Cook, DuPage, McHenry and Lake counties being taxed enough to resolve the issues regarding their municipalities? Let our mayors "build back better" as they understand the infrustrcture of their own towns and don't need the federal government (your wallet) to be squandered with unnessary taxes.

Thought "things" in the last couple of years were going OK? Guess not. So "build back better."
