Antioch woman accused of slashing boyfriend's arms

An Antioch woman is in custody after slashing her boyfriend with a kitchen knife during an argument, according to police.

Charmaine Gunn, 48, was arrested by Antioch police at 1 p.m. Saturday on the 900 block of Main Street after the victim reported the attack had occurred in the early morning, a news release said.

Police said Gunn slashed her boyfriend's arms twice. She is charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, aggravated battery causing bodily harm and aggravated domestic battery.

The victim's injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

Gunn is being held in the Lake County jail on $100,000 bail.
