St. Charles Kiwanis elects new officers

The St. Charles Kiwanis Club recently elected new officers and board members for 2021-22.

The elected officers are Sue Liechti, president; Carl Ziegler, past president; Joel Mulder, president-elect; Darlene Riebe, vice president: Mike Linkimer, treasurer; Lori Linkimer, secretary; and Kim Lescelius, assistant secretary.

New board members are Diane DeWitte, Peter Ball, and Bob Brautigam.

Lang Nguyen, Trudy Nichol, Warren Beeh, Connie Kurr, Katrina Hish, and John Schmidt are the remaining board members.

The officers and board comprise a group of 16 community advocates with diverse experiences who oversee the club's mission of helping area children and families in need.

In her initial address to the club as president, Sue Liechti challenged members to determine who they are as a club and how they will serve in the coming year.

The St. Charles Kiwanis Club meets both in person and on Zoom every Tuesday at noon at Baker Memorial United Methodist Church, 307 Cedar Ave. in downtown St. Charles.

New members are welcome.
