GreenFields of Geneva residents visit with former FCC chairman

Residents of GreenFields of Geneva senior living community recently had a presentation and Q&A from former chairman of the Federal Communications Commission.

Via the wonders of Zoom, Ajit Pai talked about topics including net neutrality, 5G, censorship, regulations and more. He also discussed what it was like having worked under both President Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

"The residents are interested in current trends and events and were excited to be able to 'visit' with someone of such notoriety and esteem," said Karen Tomko, community engagement manager. "Most of our activities now are in-person, but when we have the opportunity to 'meet' celebrities or visit amazing destinations via Zoom, we're excited to be able to do so."
