Elgin library to hold Facebook Live COVID-19 Q&A Tuesday, vaccine clinic Saturday

The Gail Borden Library will hold a Facebook Live COVID-19 Q&A with Dr. Dori Poulos Tuesday.

Poulos, a family doctor and chairman of the Elgin Board of Health, will discuss current happenings with COVID, the vaccines and more at 7 p.m. The event is in English and Spanish.

The live event can be accessed at gbpl.info/FBLV.

The library also will host a vaccine clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 11, at the main branch, 270 N. Grove Ave.

The clinic will feature the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5-11, Pfizer shots 1, 2, and booster for adults, Moderna booster for adults, and the flu shot.
