Facts vs. belief

Funk and wagnalls defines fact as "something that actually exists or has actually occurred." Rittenhouse defenders claim the facts supported his not guilty. The facts are: No. 1, he had a gun; No. 2, he pointed it at people; No. 3, he pulled the trigger; No. 4, two people are dead and one injured. Anything else that happened that night are assumptions or speculation not facts. No matter how much you believe something, that does not make it fact.
