Grains lower, livestock higher.

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower on Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Dec. was off 24.50 cents at $8.2375 a bushel; Dec. corn dropped 14.50 cents at $5.68 a bushel; Dec. oats fell 10.50 cents at $7.49 a bushel; while Jan. soybeans lost 35 cents at $12.4150 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec. live cattle rose 1.65 cents at $1.3795 a pound; Jan. feeder cattle gained 2.25 cents at $1.6682 a pound; Dec. lean hogs was up .60 cent at $.7555 a pound.
