COVID-19, flu vaccines offered Saturday at Gail Borden Library in Elgin

The Gail Borden Elgin Area Pandemic Team will host VNA Health Care clinics Saturday for a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Elgin library Saturday.

The clinic will offer Pfizer vaccines for children aged 5 to 11, as well as initial vaccinations or boosters from both Pfizer and Moderna for adults. Flu shots also will be available.

The clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the main library, 270 N. Grove Ave, in Elgin on Nov. 13 and Dec. 11.

Registration is appreciated but walk-ins are welcome. Custodial approval is necessary for people under 18.
