Grains higher, livestock mixed.

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher on Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Dec. advanced 30.50 cents at $8.2425 a bushel; Dec. corn rose 14.50 cents at $5.7850 a bushel; Dec. oats was up 18.75 cents at $7.49 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans gained 9.50 cents at $12.1350 a bushel.

Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dec. live cattle was off .63 cent at $1.3152 a pound; Nov. feeder cattle fell .42 cent at $1.5645 a pound; Dec. lean hogs was up .70 cent at $.7592 a pound.
