Palatine police collecting winter clothing for families in need

The Palatine Police Department is collecting new and gently used coats and winter clothing for all ages to benefit the P.A.T.H. program.

P.A.T.H., or Palatine Assisting Through Hope, provides food, clothing and other basic needs for families in crisis. The organization also supports programs for underprivileged children and connects people in need with vital community resources in the Palatine area.

Items can be dropped off is in the police department lobby, 595 N. Hicks Road, through Nov. 30.
