Math in perspective

In the letter "Keep COVID deaths in perspective" on Oct. 29, the writer states that the statistic of "1 in 500 Illinois deaths from COVID" is the same as .002%. This is not correct. It is the same as 0.2%. This is pretty simple math, and the Herald should have caught this.
