Grains higher, livestock mixed

Wheat for Dec. was up .25 cent at $7.7275 a bushel; Dec. corn gained 5.50 cents at $5.6825 a bushel, Dec. oats advanced 19.25 cents at $7.2975 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans rose 2 cents at $12.3575 a bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Oct. live cattle rose 2.87 cents at $1.2737 a pound; Oct. feeder cattle fell 1.08 cents at $1.5657 a pound; while Dec. lean hogs was up .87 cent at $.7607 a pound.
