CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher on Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Dec. gained 11.50 cents at $7.7350 a bushel; Dec. corn rose 5.25 cents at $5.65 a bushel; Dec. oats was up 2 cents at $7.1650 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans lost 12.75 cents at $12.4325 a bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Oct. live cattle was up .55 cents at $1.2670 a pound; Oct. feeder cattle was off .05 cent at $1.5612 a pound; Dec. lean hogs rose .85 cent at $.7357 a pound.
