Conservation@Home to host program on Illinois Native Pollinators Oct .27
The University of Illinois Extension in partnership with Conservation@Home and Forest Preserves of Cook County, is hosting a webinar on Illinois native pollinators from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, on Zoom.
Plan now for the pollinators! When it comes to pollination, honeybees get a majority of the attention. However, many insects play a role in pollination.
This presentation will discuss different native pollinators, including beetles and flies, and tips on how to make your landscape attractive to them, including providing habitat.
Registration is required for this free online event at https://extension.illinois.edu/cook/events.
