Naperville's Career & Networking Center to host job fair Oct. 15

The Career & Networking Center is holding a job fair from 8:30 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 15, in the lower level of the Naperville Municipal Center, Meeting Rooms A and B. Parking is available on site and masks are required.

The center is partnering with the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce, Naperville Development Partnership and the Downtown Naperville Alliance to bring together job seekers and employers.

There will be 40 businesses on-site to meet and interview potential employees. Career counselors will be available for assistance with mock interviews, resume writing and career coaching; scholarships for B.A.S.S.E.T. training for qualified candidates; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Information Technology and electric apprenticeship advisors will be on hand to meet with job seekers.

According to Kim White, Executive Director of the Career & Networking Center, "Hiring is a key need to business and personal success. We look forward to connecting job seekers and employers at this event to fill open positions and get individuals back to work."

The hiring businesses represent several industries including hospitality, restaurants, education, healthcare, administrative, manufacturing/distribution and more. Part-time, full-time and seasonal positions are available and wages, hours, benefits and signing bonuses (if available) will be provided for each open position. Available jobs will be posted on NapervilleWorks.org prior to the event.
