Get Pfizer booster and flu shot at Gail Borden Oct. 1
Elgin Area Pandemic Assistance and Gail Borden Public Library will host a Walgreens clinic for flu shots and Pfizer boosters on Friday, Oct. 1, in the Meadows Room at the library, 270 N. Grove Ave. in downtown Elgin.
Walk-ins are welcome or register online for flu shots at wagsoutreach.com/ss/GAI164713; or Pfizer at wagsoutreach.com/ss/GAI241251.
For booster shots, people need to bring in their vaccine cards. COVID-19 vaccine booster shots are available for the following Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine recipients who completed their initial series at least 6 months ago:
• 65 years and older 18+ who have underlying medical conditions;
• 18 or older who work in high-risk settings;
• 18 or older who live in high-risk settings
