Columnist promoted lie on collusion

Michael Barone's column accusing Hillary Clinton of trying to delegitimize Donald Trump's presidency by promoting "the utterly baseless charges that Trump colluded with Vladimir Putin's Russia" is based on a lie. The Mueller Report documented over 100 contacts between Trump's campaign staff and Russian agents.

Remember Trump telling Russia to release Hillary's emails? Or the meeting with Russian agents where Jared Kushner and others on the campaign met to discuss getting dirt on Hillary Clinton? The claim that there was no collusion was not true at the time, and it's not true now.

For Barone, who knows better, to claim otherwise reveals his purely partisan bias, and his willingness to gaslight his readers. Much like the rest of the right-wing media.
