Government by executive branch

Obama and Trump went around Congress to work their agendas. Now Biden is using it to control every aspect of business and personal life. The Biden administration is also trying to use agencies and laws to take away states' rights.

Through Sept. 24, Biden has issued 63 executive orders, 37 presidential memorandums, 125 proclamations, and 23 notices. He has tried to control rents with the CDC, issued vaccination requirements for business using OSHA, sued any state that disagrees with him using the Justice Department, proposed to use the IRS to report every receipt or expenditure over $600, and many more. It seems that we don't really need Congress anymore, because laws passed that way are not partisan enough and take too long.

Is this the United Sates that we want? If you are allowed to restrict citizens or business freedoms anytime you want using health and safety, almost anything you can say fits under that umbrella. The federal government under executive control could use the CDC, IRS, DOJ, OSHA and others to control every aspect of our day-to-day life and reject anything done by the states.

Can states no longer make their own laws or businesses run their own affairs without the full weight of the federal government coming after them through the executive branch in a partisan manner?

Government is supposed to be here to protect us from those trying to take away our freedom not the one who takes our freedoms away.
