Batavia Lions to host Family Bingo Night Oct. 13

On Wednesday, Oct. 13, the Batavia Lions Club is hosting a Family Bingo Night from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pal Joey's restaurant, 2030 Main St. in Batavia.

Reusable Bingo cards are $5 each and reservations are required for this event to assure social distancing.

Win prizes and bring the kids or grandparents, there is something for everyone! Pizza and salad bar available for $12 or $10 kids under age 10.

Proceeds from this event benefit the Batavia High School Eco Club for their transformation of an unused courtyard into a waterscape space. This space with trees, river, waterfall will serve as an eco classroom for young scientists, an area for a mental health breaks for all students, plus a source of jobs and tasks for special education vocational students.

Bring your book club, your family or round up the neighbors for a night of fun for a great cause.

The Batavia Lions Club was founded in 1974 as a charter of Lions Clubs International. membership is open to men and women 18 and older who want to serve the community.
