Girls golf: Vernon Hills nets first CSL North crown
With a team score of 359, the Vernon Hills girls golf team on Wednesday won the program's first Central Suburban North Conference championship, bettering second place Deerfield by 2 shots at the Wilmette Golf Club.
Lexi Schulman shot a 79 for the Cougars, good for second place.
Also scoring for VH were Anna Lee (5th, 88), Tiffany Kang (8th, 93), Emily Jones (tie for 10th, 99) and Irene Im (tie for 10th, 99).
