No one injured in Naperville fire
No one was injured in a house fire Saturday morning in the 800 block of S. Charles Avenue in Naperville, fire officials said.
Fire crews arrived at 11:37 a.m. to find the garage attached to the two-story home engulfed in flames, according to a news release.
Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the home. Its two occupants were alerted to the fire by working smoke detectors and called 9-1-1. They were waiting outside by the time firefighters arrived, officials said.
After 15 minutes of battling the blaze, the fire was under control. Though there was damage to the attached garage, the home was deemed habitable by fire officials.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
