In this 1992 comedy, James Woods plays a shark-toothed Chicago newspaper reporter out to expose a sudden radio talk show sensation played delightfully by Dolly Parton. Seems she is being marketed by the station as a doctor when she's really a dance instructor passing along homespun advice. Woods, ironically, has become a strident "fake news" critic on social media recently. The late Jerry Orbach, a Waukegan native, plays Woods' crusty editor. It's available on Blu-ray and DVD and several livestream platforms.
