What are mask metrics?

Gov. Pritzker's recent decision to reinstate the indoor mask mandate begs the question, "What is the metric that will be followed to lift the mandate?" During the depths of the pandemic, metrics such as rolling daily new cases, hospital beds and ICU capacities were cited as reasons why we could or could not move toward reductions in quarantine measures, social distancing, mask mandates, etc. So what is the metric Pritzker will use to lift the latest mask mandate? Is he "following the science" or is it now in his sole discretion? The citizens of our fair state deserve to know.
