HAVI Group acquires maker of beverage and food containers

DOWNERS GROVE - The HAVI Group LP Wednesday said it has acquired Pacific Market International LLC, a global manufacturer of sustainable food and beverage container solutions.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. HAVI is a privately-owned company that operates businesses providing services in supply chain, sourcing and consumer engagement.

The acquisition further expands HAVI's role and offerings as a leader in product development and strategic sourcing serving the world's largest global food service brands, the company said.

Founded in 1983, PMI Worldwide makes beverageware and food container solutions for global food service brands and retailers. Its two most recognizable consumer brands are Stanley and Aladdin, whose products are sold in more than 60 countries. PMI Worldwide employs more than 700 people in seven countries.
