Masks, vaccinations needed for real freedom

I agree with several Fence Post commentators who have written in to encourage everyone to mask up whether you are vaccinated or not vaccinated. To all of the parents who were at school board meetings in our suburban areas protesting against mask mandates in schools, please set a good example to your children. Protect them everywhere they go by having them wear a mask.

Sending them to school without a mask or not encouraging them to wear a mask is like sending lambs to the slaughter.

You are placing your own flesh and blood and family line in danger and eventually sending them to the hospital or having our schools closed down. Do you really want that? I think not.

As to antivaxxers out there, get real and get vaccinated and stop complaining about people "taking away our freedom." This is baloney. If you continue on this path, you may end up on a ventilator or simply dead with no "freedom." You are also placing your family and loved ones and community at risk.

You will have less and less "freedom" if we continue to have people who are not vaccinated and refuse to wear a mask while in public or esp. in indoor settings.

Lets not extend this pandemic into 2022.
