Wheat for Sep. rose 5.50 cents at $7.1975 a bushel; Sep. corn was off .75 cent at $5.38 a bushel, Sep. oats gained 14.50 cents at $5.0950 a bushel; while Sep. soybeans was up .25 cent at $12.94 a bushel.
Beef was mixed and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Aug. live cattle rose 2.18 cents at $1.2645 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle was off .82 cent at $1.5820 a pound; while Oct. lean hogs fell 1.15 cents at $.8747 a pound.
