Deer Park Town Center hosts Summer Food Truck Series, School Supplies Drive

Deer Park Town Center is partnering with United Way of Lake County to provide students in low income families with new school supplies during the shopping center's monthly food truck series in August.

Four food trucks will be featured for attendees to enjoy, including three savory options and one sweet option. This month's featured food trucks include:

Billy Bricks on Wheels (Wood Fired Pizza)

Big Mama's Kitchen (Urban Soul Food)

Culinary Gangster (Burgers & Fries)

Rita's Italian Ice (Dessert)

Attendees can bring their school supplies to the food truck event where a table will be set up to collect donations.

Shoppers who spend $150 or more same-day in stores at Deer Park Town Center and donate new school supplies will receive two free tickets to Century Theatres. Simply show your shopping receipts and bring your school supply donations to the table at the event to receive your tickets.

The event is this Saturday, August 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The school supplies drive and gift with purchase will run through the end of August. Donations and receipts are to be dropped off during the week at the shopping center's main office.
