Naperville Recognized as a Better Business Town

NAPERVILLE - The city of Naperville has become the second suburb named a Better Business Town by the Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois. Naperville joins Schaumburg as among the first municipalities in the nation to earn this new designation.

The Better Business Town recognition was created by the BBB to identify highly engaged local communities that actively promote an ethical and trustworthy business marketplace, the agency said.

Naperville is the fourth largest city in Illinois and was selected because of its outstanding and dynamic business community. Businesses of every size and sector have found success being located in Naperville.

Naperville ranks second in two notable categories throughout Chicago and northern Illinois: second in the total number of BBB Accredited Businesses and second in most web traffic from people searching for reliable businesses.

"Naperville is one of the most vibrant business communities in Illinois, so it comes as no surprise that many of their businesses are BBB Accredited," said Steve Bernas, president and CEO of the Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois.
