'The Odd Couple'

We do not tend to think of the 1968 Neil Simon classic as a newspaper movie, but Oscar Madison, played by Walter Matthau, was a New York sportswriter, and the stereotype he played was relatively accurate for the era. Besides that, we love Jack Lemmon, and this is an ageless comedy. It's available on Blue-ray and DVD and via livestream from most platforms.
