London Crossing plan up for review in Wheeling

Wheeling's plan commission will meet Wednesday to discuss plans for new townhouses, stores and restaurants on Dundee Road.

Mount Prospect-based Wingspan Development is behind the effort. The project focuses on the land once home to the Dundee Plaza shopping center, on the south side of Dundee Road west of Elmhurst Road.

The proposed development would be called London Crossing.

The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. at village hall, 2 Community Blvd. The developer is requesting exemptions to village building codes, and they will be discussed during the meeting.
