Lake County property assessments arriving soon

Lake County taxpayers' property assessments soon will be arriving in the mail, county officials say.

Officials say it's important for taxpayers to read, understand and check the notice for accuracy, and contact their local township assessor's office with questions regarding their property valuation.

Property owners have 30 days to appeal the assessment after it is published.
