Track vaccinated kids with pen, paper

In the article July 10 about students who are vaccinated not having to wear masks you stated that some suburban schools wonder how they'd apply standards that call for unvaccinated students to wear masks.

Try a real old-fashioned method - you know, before computers. The standard is all unvaccinated students must wear masks. If a student is vaccinated, they can bring in their card showing the vaccination history. The teacher uses a piece of paper and a pen or pencil and writes that student's name down. From that day forward, that student and any other students who bring in their proof of vaccination do not have to wear masks.

Teachers who have chosen not to get vaccinated must wear masks as well.
