More to do on Illinois corruption

The person who investigates corrupt Illinois legislators resigned, and she did not say "My work here is done." Inspector General Carol Pope says her work can't be done. The recently-passed ethics reform legislation is worse than weak sauce; Pope says it reduces her ability to investigate corruption. It also preserves the ability of legislative leaders and partisan gridlock to prevent the release of the Inspector General's reports.

This should not be acceptable to the people of Illinois.
