The issues Biden did not address in local visit

The president made a campaign-like stop in Crystal Lake on Wednesday.

I'm not exactly sure why that particular suburb was chosen to discuss infrastructure. It seemed to me that perhaps a visit to Naperville or Woodridge might have appeared to be more to the point in addition to providing moral support to citizens in the area. I suppose that's a role for a governor, not for our governor, but for most governors across the country.

The president spoke about infrastructure and vaccine. Chicago, the current version of the OK Corral, and the violence problem never came up, interestingly on a weekend during which over 100 people were shot in the city.

I guess once the agenda is set, that's it. No variation, no questions or no shifting allowed. No speaking off the cuff allowed. I was just hoping someone could thank him for gasoline rising to $3.45 per gallon here in the Land of Lincoln. Oops, bad question. Sorry.
