Aurora police collecting toiletries for domestic violence agency
The Aurora Police Department is hosting a "Christmas in July" drive-through toiletries collection from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Donations of toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, feminine-hygiene products and other toiletries will be accepted in the front parking lot of the police department, 1200 E. Indian Trail.
The collection will benefit clients of the Mutual Ground agency, which helps survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
