AAR adds Druck sensors to its aircraft maintenance service

WOOD DALE - AAR, a provider of aviation mechanic services to commercial and government operators, has signed an agreement with Druck to offer global mechanical support for a range of engine pressure sensors. This service will be performed through AAR's customer support team and worldwide warehouses network.

Druck, based in the United Kingdom, is a Baker Hughes business and the company has supplied more than 500,000 sensors to the aerospace sector.

"We are excited to add Druck' pressure sensors to our portfolio to enhance our existing (aircraft-on-ground) solutions for customers," said Darren Spiegel, AAR vice president and general manager of the company's Original Equipment Manufacturer Solutions division.

Druck sensors are used to support applications such as hydraulics, environmental control systems, fuel monitoring, auxiliary power unit operations, engine measurement, air data measurement and cabin pressure.
