Emphasize ethics, values in all our actions

Two very appropriate letters to the Fencepost appeared Monday, June 28: "Cheerleader story shows problem with people today" and "New ethics reform law does not go far enough."

At first glance, they seem unrelated, but they support the important issues of ethics, morals and values vs. the hard legal decisions.

In a litigious culture, I implore all to live with the vision that the right to act does not make the act right.

Be thoughtful and courteous.
